The unsolved murders of rap superstars The Notorious BIG and Tupac Shakur are at the center of this true-life crime drama. Almost twenty years after the homicides, disgraced former LAPD detective Russell Poole (Johnny Depp) and journalist Jack Jackson (Forest Whitaker) work together to uncover the truth, reinforcing Poole's long-held suspicions of police corruption and a cover-up. Shot in 2016, the film co-stars Rockmond Dunbar, Neil Brown Jr., Xander Berkeley.
